I got to spend a week with my wonderful mom at Del Mar. She had a stroke 6 months ago and is receiving rehab. I observed a friendly, competent team of professionals who treated everyone with respect. Everyone I came in contact with at Del Mar was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The parties, activities, outings, and entertainment are outstanding and families are always welcome. I ate lunch with my mom for $3.00. It was very good and the dining room is beautiful. I enjoyed the free ice cream in the afternoon and there is a beautiful courtyard with a gazebo to enjoy while visiting. The nursing staff is great in an often difficult and thankless job. And housekeeping and maintenance keep the facility clean and safe. All in all, we're very happy with the care that our mom is receiving. Keep up the good work Del Mar! We appreciate all of you!
