On the corner of Belmont & Olive is one of Capitol Hill's\r longest running dining establishments. Owners & Hosts Majid and Jane offer a varied menu featuring traditional breakfast and brunch egg dishes along with more exotic brunch preparations such as Shakshuka or ""Eggs in Purgatory"" as well as ""Beni Thai"" eggs Benedict (think eggs benedict on top of a sticky rice crab cake). \r On the weekend chef Marta cooks Mexican brunch specials consisting of traditional rustic colonial dishes from her home country of Mexico. These are not to be missed as many customers go just to eat Marta's cooking.\r If you are in the mood for something lighter try one of the exceptional coffee drinks and a fruit platter or slice of Budapest coffee cake. \r In a nod to the owner's Jordanian heritage there are several middle eastern preparations sprinkled throughout the menu. The Hummus platter is the best in the city and the Egyptian Foul, is a delicious preparation of pureed fava beans drizzled with olive oil and served with pita bread for dipping.\r This is a delightful place to entertain out-of-town company and there is something on the menu for every taste.\r \r Pros: Outdoor Patio Seating & Large Atmospheric Dining Room
