Review content:
Well, there are some good things to be said of this company and ways they can improve.
First, they have decent packages such as the igrow, imembership, and expectant mothers packages. You get a great value. Rather than tell you the extensive details you should check out their website.
Second, there is never a sitting fee. However you only get a 15 minute photo session, with about 20 photos you get to view at the end. So even with purchasing a package of photos at a discount, it can be hard to find 9 or more photos you like out of 20. Also, the quality of photo paper they use is less than that of JCPenny, no less a professionally hired photographer. You get what you pay for, but if you have a budget I think it is worth it.
Third, I'd like let you know that I question if they EVER wash their backdrops. The white especially is always filthy and comes out crummy when you have an infant or toddler doing a shoot on the floor. It's also one thing to have a loose backdrop, but sometimes it is wrinkled and looks cheap in the photo. There has been several times where we've gotten photos taken of our kids in clothes that blend in to the backdrop, or look ackward because the white is so dirty. Sometimes it is the lighting that they don't always get quite right.
Next, they have a variety of photographers. Some are excellent with experience and schooling with photography and others have none, zip, nada. They seem to have a high turnover of staff with the inexperienced, yet the better photographers seem to stay.
I want to conclude that they are friendly and want you to be happy. They encourage reshoots if you are unhappy with your first experience. You also get same day prints, it takes about 25 minutes after you pay. They are open mall hours and it makes it easier to schedule, and they almost always have the time you want to book.
Needless to say I've had great experiences and satisfactory. I hope the details help.
