The Plaza is one of those places that doesn't need to advertise. Seems as if their food, service, cleanliness and management does all the advertising from within the restaurant. I stumbled across the restaurant after reading about the rave reviews in not one but two issues of Our State Magazine. It's down home cooking, and always good! I've never had a bad meal there and I have eaten there 2-3 times a week for the past two years (250-300 meals, all excellent). It seems all the locals eat there, which tells me something, it's good. Managment is top notch, as well. I've seen Stephen and Alex have the great ability to make all feel welcome from all ends of society. You have lawyers eating beside farmers and they all love the food. The place is great for kids, too. Seniors eat there in abundance, as well. I've noticed since they went smoke free last year, there are a lot more younger people and families than before. And their prices cannot be beat anywhere! Where can four people eat for $25? Honestly, the should be about $2-3 higher per person. As good as the food is, and the service, they wouldn't lose a customer. Portion sizes are huge. Bar none, the best place in Kernersville to eat. I would venture to say one of the top 10 restaurants in the Triad. After all, which other restaurant has been in two issues of Our State Magazine that you can recall? Pros: Food, Service, Cleanliness Cons: None, the place is perfect!
