Review content:
Onion Creek is like few (or none) other in Houston, and probably for good reason. This Austin-inspired bar / coffee house is a well-done combination of Starbucks and Gingerman, but without the crowd. The inside is trendy and spacious, with comfy chairs and space for laptops. The outside patio holds plenty of picnic tables to gather with friends over a beer or late night cappucino. Because of its residential setting (it is literally surrounded by homes in the Heights) the bar isn't too noisy. The location must be the only reason this hasn't been discovered; take advantage before it is.
