Review content:
""Lee's Summit's Best Kept Secret?"" I agree. In the former SAMBOS and a BBQ(?) building next to Bob Smith Ford, SIKI is a great addition to Lee's Summit's continual growth and culture. I joked 15 years ago,""Will Lee's Summit ever have a JAPANESE Restaurant?"". With LS's redneck meat and potatoes complacency, I speculated Siki would be spurned or go out of business fast. Not at all. It's a nicely decorated space divided in two sections: One for teppanyaki grill tables with expert, acrobatically- inclined chefs; the other, mainly a sushi lover's bar and dinner tables. The service is great. I had 2 polite waitresses and 5 busser/water boys on one visit! Great dumplings and greaseless spring rolls. Best tempura combos I've ever had! Very fresh, creative sushi and sashimi (ask for something extra special!). soothing Saki. Beautiful hostess... like in the movies! Reasonably Priced. $$ ~ $$$

Pros: attentive service, tasty food, great 1st date
Cons: location, needs interior work, awkward hours
