Review content:
Our family reunion partook in the African American Heritage tour, by Queen City Tours. It was awful to say the least. We felt as if the tour guide was racist. He made remarks that the ""jail is the new slave plantation."" filled with blacks and Mexicans. That statement was only one of unnecessary and derogatory remarks that he made during the tour. Not only did he constantly sway from the topic of African American history in Charlotte he spoke on issues that he was not qualified nor privileged to speak on in this particular setting. And if that was not enough he tried on several occasions to push one of his political agendas on the entire bus. Totally inappropriate. This is not how you conduct business at all. I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy. I am very disappointed in the quality of service. And no, I do not work for the city of Charlotte.
