Review content:
Pretty good hotel. Since I'm HHonors Gold I usually stay here and can find a pretty good rate.
The location is very good: 1/2 block from Michigan Ave and a short walk to the Oak Street Beach. But also pretty quiet compared to some other hotels in this.
Even the highest rooms only have decent lake views since other buildings block you view. But still nice to wake up to a sunrise over the lake.
Elevators can be a long wait.
Staff is above average for Chicago hotels.
Placement of the TV in the rooms is wierd and the reception is fair to poor. But if you're in Chicago you shouldn't be staying in your room too much.
