Review content:
We've give our business to Spruce Cleaners for the past 6mos and were generally happy with the job they did for the first few months. Then, a sweater came back with a missing button. When my husband pointed it out to them, they said it was already missing. He assured them that it was not as asked them to look around for it. They refused, insisting that the button was missing when it came in (but I know it was there - I check the buttons constantly). Then two shirts came back with small spots on the collar. When my husband pointed it out, the owner got angry with him and said it wasn't his responsibility. He did not apologize and only begrudgingly agreed to reclean *one* of the shirts. In both instances, the owner refused to even acknowledge that he may have been responsible for the damage (which was slight and easily reparable). It leaves a sour taste in your mouth. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.
