Review content:
It seems that this company continues to maintain its record of poor communication and overall management. I had recently hired this company to perform work on a large tree in my yard. An assessment was performed and a service date scheduled. Two days in a row, I was told that the crew would be at my house that day and they never showed or called. I had to keep calling them to try to find out what was going on. After the first day, I was told the next morning that they did not make it because the customer they were working with before me decided they wanted additional work done and the company chose to stay there instead of completing the work for my property. That would be somewhat understandable, but they did not even call and just left me hanging. I called multiple times that day asking where they were, and was informed that they would indeed be there that day. This continued until their main office finally closed and I could no longer reach them. The next day I received a call first thing with an apology and was again guaranteed that they would be out that day. Again, I waited until the late afternoon and finally contacted them asking where they were. I was told that they came by the property and decided that they could not do the work because of a power line and that they needed different equipment. This did not make sense because they had already come out a week prior to do an assessment. We walked around my property and the power line was discussed and they acknowledged at that time that specific equipment would be needed as a result. After the ""no show"" on day two, I was informed (after I called them again) that they could come out at a date scheduled one week later! I explained that I would not wait another week for them to hopefully show up. The lady on the phone from the main office explained that they had ""city jobs"" scheduled in between. I explained that they had already scheduled me for two other days and missed those appointments. The lady in the front office was trying to be helpful and kept referring to having to call ""Garry"" the owner about moving the appointment. At this point I was fed up with waiting and had no faith that they would keep any scheduled appointment. This company can't even manage to use a telephone to keep a paying customer informed of changes, so it makes we wonder about their abilities in general.
This company apparently gets a lot of city contracts and those are far more important to them than any work for regular customers. I hope those contracts continue to work out for them, because they should not be recommended at all for any work for individuals. It's annoying that city tax dollars are going to this unreliable company.
Please do yourself a favor and move on past Arbor Tree Care and find another reputable and professional company. If they find a better paying job than yours, they will completely disregard you.
