Review content:
This, like all the reviews for realty firms, is more a review of the broker than the firm. My partner and I were looking for a two bedroom we would share with our single friend (not a very conventional case), close to the South Boston, in City Point near the Beach and Castle Island, East Broadway and Columbia Streets, and near the Andrew Square and Broadway T stops. We had heard from friends that live there (we are from Maine) that South Boston was a great place to be if you wanted to be close to the city and yet still have lots of local shops and be close to the water at a more affordable price than Charlestown. We worked with about 10 brokers. Patrick Brusil, our broker from NextGen Realty, was by far the most pleasant to work with. I found his apartment listing on the website which by the way had a bunch of pictures and even some videos which helped me get to know what apartments looked like for the price range. Patrick wasn't pushy. He was well-organized and very sensitive to our needs. He cared and wanted to find us our new home, not just another apartment. He was also very respectful of our time and did not waste our time with crappy apartments, stuff out of our price range, etc. Patrick's choices of apartments to show us were dead on, they fit most our criteria, if not all. He was also very easy to contact by phone and by email. I have a habit of writing long emails describing everything we need with examples and such, and I found that he was the only one who actually read these emails, thought about them, and used all the information to find us something great. I highly recommend Patrick and NextGen to anyone who is looking for not just a great broker, but also a great person to deal with and a very pleasant overall experience. Pros: Good agents, fantastic knowledge
