Review content:
I only had 20 lbs to lose. I am great at maintaining weight, but I just couldn't seem to get rid of the last 20 lbs of baby weight. I went to Lindora because I wanted to lose weight safely in a supportive environment. Oh you'll lose the weight alright - but if you're taking diet pills and only eating 600 calories a day, of course you're going to lose weight! This is no ""medically supervised"" program. This is a STARVATION DIET. From day 2 of the diet I had headaches that wouldn't quit. I was told it was ""carb withdrawl."" By week 2 I was so weak I could barely make it up the stairs. I was sick TWICE for a total of 3 out of the first 4 weeks of the program because my body was so weak I was catching any virus that came my way. I hadn't had a cold for 2 years before going to Lindora! In the book, it says that you have choices between REAL food and Lindora products. Not so. Every Monday you can only eat Lindora products (powdered garbage in a bag - careful, after 4 spoonfuls your meal is over nevermind it's only sugary tasting desserts) and the rest of the days 3 out of your six ""meals"" (if you count 100 calories as a meal) have to be Lindora products. What you see is NOT what you get. After 8 weeks on the program, the skin on my fingers was peeling, my hair was becoming brittle and every single day I still felt like hell. My headaches were so bad and yet I was still being told this was ""carb withdrawl."" When I went to my doctor because I was very concerned about my headaches, I was told that it was because I was starving myself! Lo and behold - after ONE regular meal at home which was 300 calories, my headache was GONE. And guess what - my meal had NO carbs! This was not carb withdrawl, this was starvation! Medically supervised? No. It's nothing but a scam. And to add insult to injury, it turns out that if you have Blue Cross, you get a 20% discount on everything. Gee, they never offered that to me so not only did they ruin 8 weeks of my life and my family's life, they also stuck me for an extra 20%. If you're really that desperate to lose weight, ask your MD for diet pills and then eat 600 calories a day. It's the same thing and you'll save yourself a boatload of money. This is NOT a medically supervised program. They don't give a toss how you feel so long as your scale numbers go down. Pros: You will lose weight Cons: Extremely unhealthy and dangerous
