Review content:
Midtown Pharmacy is a small pharmacy right on Arthur Godfrey on the Beach. It was recommended to me by my MD around 8 years ago and it is the only pharmacy I have used for prescriptions since (with the exception of having to wait forever at major pharmacy chains while out of town). The pharmacist is a very pleasant guy who is willing to go out of his way to assist be it working with your doctor to helping with insurance coverage. Bottom line Midtown is like a small town pharmacy where the pharmacist knows his or her customers and does their job efficiently. Before Midtown a 1 to 2 hour wait was common and I simply accepted the status quo; in my case doing so for years has cost me a ton of money as when I transferred a few expensive prescriptions which had not been covered by my insurance to Midtown the pharmacist called my insurer and got them on the phone with my doctor and got hundreds of dollars a month covered (CVS had not let me know this option existed as I was just another face). Could not recommend more highly and I have continued to use Midtown Pharmacy after moving an additional 20 minutes away.
