Businiess name:  Scv Bank

I very much recommend against using SCV Bank. They act like they are a local Santa Clarita community bank but are actually based out of Ventura County. The hours are poor as compared to most banks. Only ONE location is Santa Clarita which is very inconvenient and you get hit with fees if you use an ATM elsewhere. Their regular fees are high, especially for the limited service they provide; the most basic checking account is still $7 a month. If you want to use your ATM more than a certain amount in one day you have to CALL THEM IN ADVANCE and let them know otherwise they will automatically BLOCK your card after so many transactions--extremely inconvenient, especially with their limited hours. \r \r Definitely a small town bank, along with a matching small time way of doing business. They are friendly, but this doesn't make up for the rest of the inconvenience and limitedness. If you want to move away from the big national banks, I recommend one of the local credit unions. Pros: friendly Cons: Very small time--limited & inconvenient
