Businiess name:  Big J's Frozen Custard
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
If there is anything more pleasurable than a fresh-made vanilla custard cone on a warm summer day, I can't think of it. Big J's did it right, brought back my childhood memories from Sheboygan, Wisconsin with truly authentic frozen custard, that is fresh made, low fat ice cream with eggs (aka French Vanilla), dense, creamy and velvety smooth unlike any other. Sad to say, locals who didn't grow up with this delicacy thought the name ""custard"" was unhealthy--but the opposite is true. All natural with 40% less fat than the popular superpremiums, frozen custard is ice cream evolved to its ultimate formulation. Big J's was recently replaced by yet another Pinkberry knockoff, leaving only one true frozen custard stand in SoCal-- Silky Smooth at the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills. Its quite a drive, but a lot closer than Milwaukee! Pros: Easy access, plenty of parking, quick in and out. Cons: Out of business - need to drive to Beverly Hills to get your custard fix
