Review content:
I ate here for the first time with some co-workers based on a ""rave"" of a recommendation from a friend, that claimed it to have the best breakfast burrito in town. The menu at first glance looks like any menu from any diner in any town. They have burritos, huevos rancheros, omelets, waffles, pancakes, french dip, blah, blah, blah, blah. But the dishes when plated are anything but traditional. The cornbeef has isn't mashed with small potatoes. It's huge cubes of cornbeef with huge diced potatoes. The French dip is stacked about a mile high. The breakfast burrito is basically anything you can imagine putting in an omelet and then rolled into a flower tortilla. Having said all that, the bottom line is the food is good... but not great. There isn't one thing on the menu that I would say if you are going to ""Eggs"" you have to get this. The decor and the ambiance are more of an attraction than the food. The people are nice and jovial to ""regulars"" and apathetic to others. The cooks work in an area no bigger than a jail cell so when busy plates are served as they come out. So it's not uncommon to get your food 20 mins before or after others at your table.
Pros: Ambience, decor, patio
Cons: service
