Review content:
I hadn't been adjusted for over a year and have a hip that causes me pain that radiates into my lower back. I also have a problem with my neck. I went to this doctor based on the review from brownfur. I wish that I could say that my experience was as positive. I was hoping for some massage to loosen up my tight muscles and then an adjustment. What I received was some acupuncture and a quick adjustment that didn't go well. On my 2nd visit I was asked why the adj caused me pain for 3 days. This confused me and I said that I didn't know. It was also confirmed that my ins doesn't cover acupuncture (which I had told her), so she said she didn't know how she was going to treat my condition. She made me feel like it was my fault, saying we had negative energy and she couldn't help me. Bottom line, don't go if you don't have the right insurance coverage. I'd also do some investigating on whether acupuncture is a good way to prepare for an adjustment. I prefer massage, heat or electric stim.
Pros: Nice office in Hillsboro
Cons: Insurance must cover acupuncture
