Well, it ain't fancy, but I'd say Treasure Island is the best value for the money anywhere in Portland if you're in a hurry, starving for great, fast, nourishing hot food that's cheap and delicious. At lunch, I come with the guys at work and pile it on, two, three plate loads. Orange chicken and kung pao chicken are my favorites. My wife loves the Chinese vegetables--baby bok choy and the hot and sour soup. We bring the kids once a month and there's always something that appeals: the Chinese deep fried donuts without the holes, the jello, sliced oranges, etc. I like the high ceilings. Nice place.
