Review content:
I went to Natasha's last night, extremely excited about having a fun evening out, and was horribly disappointed. The food was okay, but it was 25 minutes before we were even acknowledged at our table (and still not by our waiter, who would walk by and pointedly ignore us), our food took over an hour and a half (we timed it), I had to get up and refill our (soft) drinks myself, and when they did bring the food, my soup came right before our meal so I couldn't enjoy it, the food was lukewarm, and my dinner partner's salad didn't even come until after the meal. I went to speak to the manager about all of this, and he was extremely rude...he kept telling me in a sarcastic tone that he had hoped for more 'understanding' patrons who knew how these things went and rolled with it, and that, for the 'most' part, they had that. He started lecturing me about the food service business, and I told him I had worked in food service for years, so I know exactly how it is, and I also know how customers should be treated. The service was terrible and the food not so great, but all of that could have been okay if we had gotten a sincere apology (all the waiter had to do was stop by and say 'You know, I'm swamped, and I'm sorry, but I'll be with you as soon as I can.' He didn't even apologize the one time he stopped by to drop off food). But a manager being rude and obnoxious to a customer with a valid complaint is absolutely unacceptable. I will NEVER go back to Natashas, and I would warn anyone who might consider it. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Lexington, both chain and local...why waste your time at a terrible place like Natashas?\r \r
