Review content:
We have had a bad experience where the material delays were accentuated a lack of follow-through, differing trade opinions within the company, and poor customer service. When the windows did come in one of them was the incorrect size. Screens were not included in the bid (partly our fault, we should have asked if the screens were included). \r \r This was a repair due to a break-in. Two windows needed to be replaced. The back sliding door was damaged and the quote preparer gave the option of repair or replacement. We chose the repair, but when their installer arrived (the first time) to do the windows, he was not aware of the door repair. When the tradesman saw the door, he said he could not repair the door and that we really needed a new one. From there, things continued to get worse as intra-office communications and finger pointing failed to resolve our situation. We finally called it quits with Poway Glass on the screens and back door. So back to the insurance we go. \r \r They also did not seem to know what an itemized estimate or invoice entails. When asked for an itemization the conversation was an emphatic ?that is what we sent?. However, a list of 3 items (2 windows and a repair) with a single total is not an itemization.\r \r All this along with short and curt conversations with the office, as well as missed appointments, has me backing out of this as fast and far as I can, as I would rather deal with the insurance agent than Poway Glass.\r
