Review content:
The area around the hotel is beautiful but I am more of a horticulture and animal fan so the plants and the birds were the best part of my visit. Besides having your traditional parrots or Macaws to entertain guests the hotel also hosts a huge collection of waterfowl such as; wood ducks, mandarins, ring teals, widgeon, Bahama pintail, black swans and provides a habitat of lush tropical plants like unusual palm trees and things like a huge aloe bainesii. The best time of year to visit is March through June when all their ducklings hatch. The birds we met while there were all very tame so you could walk right up to see them. Pros: Tropical paradise Cons: Little-No parking for people going to the lobby to check in
