Review content:
The Wilhite House made our wedding day enjoyable, calm, and forever memorable. They offer the DJ, savory food, wedding cake, decoration, coordinator, and even photography, all for a phenomenal price! This really is the all-inclusive package.\r \r The Wilhite House offered creativity that many venues simply do not; they work with the bride in order to achieve her dream-day. I gave Lori a single photo of flowers, and she & Cheryl were able to produce a tablescape that not only matched my colors perfectly, but was breathtaking. I felt like the only & most important bride in the world!\r \r Did I mention the cake?\r They offer a unique alternative to traditional cake—the Faux cake (I highly recommend it). Existing of only one “real” layer, the faux cake allows the bride & groom to have the “cutting of the cake” while guests are served immediately and without mess. Cake embellishment is nearly limitless as it doesn’t have to be edible! As far as the quality of the cake, this was something from Grandma’s kitchen (the raspberry sauce drizzled over each individual piece made this cake superlative). Lori also crafted a divine chocolate-on-chocolate groom’s cake that was out of this world visually, not to mention, mouth-watering!\r \r We chose the buffet style hors d’oeuvres, and I couldn’t have been happier. As mentioned, the tablescape was custom designed and complete with fruit & vegetable carvings. The food was elegant and of course, delicious. The cranberry based punch is a must-have. \r \r We also chose Lori to be our photographer—a choice I am forever grateful! She was professional, creative, and willing to get down and dirty (ie lie down in the grass) to get those shots that other photographers simply miss. \r \r The Wilhite House was everything I dreamed my wedding would be. The beautiful grounds, décor of the historic home, friendly staff, and careful attention to detail make this venue truly magical and unique from others. \r \r To Lori, Cheryl, and Wilhite House staff-- thank you so much for making my day unforgettable!!!!! \r Pros: wonderful cake, beautiful setting, friendly staff Cons: Possibility of inclement weather
