I was the maid of honor in a wedding at the Wilhite house recently and I had a horrible expierence. The staff was very rude to my sister [the bride], to me , and to all of the guest. They were very friendly and accomidating until they got their money. The price paid and the price originally agreed on were very different. In the middle of the wedding my parents were approached and ask to pay additional gratuity that was told would be included in the money already paid. The management made it clear that children were not welcome and made us feel very out of place and uneasy. The food was not good and there were not enough plates or forks. We paid for 130 guest and only 90 attended so there should have been plenty of plates. Also the food ran out but they made sure their staff had food to eat. Our guest were denied anymore food while thier staff ate the leftovers. I would not advice anyone to use this place. A wedding is supposed to be a magical, beautiful, wonderful day but the staff at the Wilhite house made this day very stressful and uncomfortable.
