We had heard about the quality cabinets built by Cates cabinetry from friends. So, when we decided to take the big step and do our 'major' remodeling of one end of the house, we only took an estimate from Cates. We had custom kitchen cabinets and one wall of built-in bookshelves built for us by Cates. THe oak in the cabinets has beautiful grain in the wood and the white bookshelves set off the room, with a clean crisp look. Barry Cates made several helpful suggestions when we were designing the room and it ended up giving us the storage we were looking for. On the day they were installed, the crew was there by 9:00 am and had everything perfectly in place by 4:00. The price was very reasonable and the quality excellent. I find it very easy to highly recommend Cates Cabinets for anyone looking for beauty and quality.
