COSTA?S FAMOUS BAR-B-QUE & STEAKHOUSE\r Trussville Crossings Blvd\r Phone: 205-655-0020\r By Leif Flanders\r \r Mrs. Flanders and I were out early this Saturday morning to go by Creative Pools and get some more chemicals for the pool for the pool/dinner party next Saturday. \r On the way back home, I suggested we stop somewhere for breakfast. I saw cars by this place up on the hill so we decided to stop there instead of a fast food joint (you might want to advertise down below that you are open). \r Well, it tuned out the right thing to do!\r Mrs. Flanders soon noted how quite the place was (even with other diners) and commented that her coffee (served in those thick, white mugs) was excellent. I?ll have to agree; I had three cups! Mrs. Flanders again stated it was nice to dine where we could carry on a conversation.\r I?ll get right to it. Mrs. Flanders had the ?I Love You Breakfast.?\r The lovely Mrs. Flanders said it was sooooo much and sooooo good!!\r I, on the other hand had the ?Costa?s Famous Omelet ? The Best of the Best.?\r Our Mexican waiter, Pablo, brought me some extra salsa and jalape?os, learning I was from Texas. More about Pablo, in a minute. Let me say, this was the biggest omelet I have ever had. It was also the tastiest and spiciest one I have ever devoured!! \r Remember this selection from my review of Zapata?s Mexican Restaurant: ?A word about Pablo, our waiter: I have never met a happier, energetic, eager to please man then him. Delightful!? Well, I soon realized this was the same man in a new position. When he asked if I wanted biscuits or pancakes, I said neither as I was watching my tummy. He said no problem; he would find me some wheat toast. And he did. He is still energetic, if not, more so. Costa?s, he is a real asset to you; take care of him!!\r What more can I say; everything was great. We?ll for sure be back; it will be fun to try at night, too. On a scale of 1 to 10, I?d give it an 11!\r Pros: Pablo, Food Cons: ?
