Review content:
After a nice evening at a nice, fairly new and clean hotel room following a fabulous concert (Billy Idol) at Agua Caliente, I was turned off 100% by terrible policy and rude management. I will never stay there again. When I called for a late check-out the person that answered the request said ""Sure, we can honor a check out for you at 1:00pm (vs. the normal 11:00am)."" When I went to reception to get my closing bill I was shocked to see they charged me a $50.00 ""late check out fee."" After arguing my case that I was never told there would be such a fee, and that if I did I would not have stayed late, I was told ""too bad."" I asked to speak with sr. management, and after making my case to him his response was also ""too bad, you should have known."" They evidently have this posted somewhere in fine print on their website, but I never saw it. I've never heard of a charge for late check out, and it's fine if they want to charge it, but THEY SHOULD TELL YOU when you make the request as common courtesy, even if it's in fine print somewhere. My message to management: use common courtesy and have your staff respond with ""Sure we can give you a late check out, ARE YOU AWARE THERE WILL BE A FEE."" They have lost a good customer in Southern California.
