Review content:
For expatriates living abroad it must be difficult to avoid feeling homesick. That is why the small pockets of local foreign culture are always successful because they have that public that always goes back to them looking for that small piece of home. The locals of course benefit from the fact that they have pieces of foreign culture in their own backyards and perhaps even save them a trip abroad. For French foreigners living in Miami as well as for the local foodies that love French food and culture it is a pleasure and a blessing to have the Buena Vista Deli. Located in a humble but key corner of the north side of the design District the Buena Vista Deli is perhaps one of the most lesser-known but most important gourmet spots of Miami. The propieteurs and chefs are obviously French and are very friendly and always there to serve their customers. The menu is very ample with a great selection of sandwiches, paninis, quiches and salads. The patisserie is outstanding, you would have to spend thousands of dollars on a trip to Paris to get something closely similar. Their pates & rilletes are all locally made and very fresh. The place is as laid back as it gets, with an always hip local crowd who are mostly regulars. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. A must if you live in Miami and are craving a proper croissant, Gj
