I bought 2 gifts certificates from Ava's website in July 2011. They were put onto my credit card, which is the only way to do this on-line. My total was just under $400. The next day, someone at Ava's ran the certificates thru my credit card again. I called Ava as soon as I got my credit card statement and she said she would debit my credit card for the over charge, but it hasn't happened yet. I offered to get my money back by either debiting my card, having her send me a check, writing me a check and letting me pick it up at the salon, etc, but I still don't have my money yet. Ava is only in the salon a few hours a week and I am told no one else can return my money to me. Ava will not return my calls. I don't know what to do, but I would NOT recommend buying a gift certificate off the website. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone ever.
