Amy at Pets in the City is just great! I have 3 dogs-- one ""normal"" dog, one itchy, allergic dog and one seizure dog (who is also a picky eater) and her store has food and supplements to take care of all three! It is truly the only all-natural pet food store in St. Louis, with a wide range of high-quality and affordable foods. Evangers, Solid Gold, Innova, Wellness, etc. My dogs just love going there too! Amy gives them treats and lots of special attention every time they go. Then we wander around Soulard and eat somewhere pet-friendly like Hammerstone's just down the street from Pets in the City or Soulard Coffee Garden--what a great neighborhood! Amy and her husband are very knowledgeable and have even special ordered things for me when they didn't have them in stock. Good service is hard to find, but I have found a locally-owned mom-and-pop shop that excels in that department. If you love your pup you should consider checking out the healthy foods and treats (and awesome fresh-baked treats bakery case), not to mention the cool, unique collars and toys at this store! Can youtell that I love this place? One more thing--their crates and most of their toys and all-natural treats are cheaper than Petsmart!!! So support a local business AND save money!
