We tried Tex's Star Grill for lunch today with our daughters because we had coupons and pass them several times per week. We ordered #11 Patty Melt Combo, #6 Gyro Sandwich Combo and the #9 Chicken Tenders Combo. When a 4 & 5 year old will not eat chicken tenders and fries you know the food is bad! The fries tasted undercooked and we did not care for whatever seasoning they put on them. The ranch dressing is very thick like paste and nasty. My girls also hated the chicken tenders. I had the patty melt combo and the bread was nasty and way too much cheese on the burger, (and I love cheese but this was overkill to where the burger was basically like a grilled cheese with onions and a hint of the burger). I also had the onion rings, they were a little slimy. My husband had the gyro and it was just the meat and tons of onions with sauce. The meat was not well cooked and the cucumber sauce was too thick and bland. He said the seasoning blend on the onion rings were also bland and unappealing. In our family's opinion it was a waste of money and we will not be back.
Cons: My vote is no stars!
