Review content:
I don't know why this restaurant is tagged as French, but having been to REAL French restaurants in San Fran, LA, Vegas, NY, NO, etc. - this is NOT French. It's basically American.
There are so many mediocre restaurants throughout the gulf coast that charge a lot of money for basically the same menu, it's so disappointing when you come across yet another.
I'm sure anyone who's never ventured outside of Mobile will think this place is great and bash any review that says otherwise (e.g. come across as an arrogant ---), but truth be told, if you've really experience good food at great restaurants, you'd know the difference between superficial and authentic. And the BEST food in the world does not require a snobby environment in which to be eaten. That kind of environment is reserved for those who judge the quality of the meal based on the price and how drunk they've gotten off their cheap wine.
This place is OK, meaning nothing exotic worth going out of your way for and definitely not worth the price. A true foodie would know this. However, if you're looking to impress someone solely by overpaying for their meal, well, your choices in Mobile are limited...
