Review content:
We went here on the recommendation of a local. We showed up around 8pm without a reservation, The maître d’ told us it would be about 45 minutes, ok so we figured we would sit at that bar and have a drink. His assistant came up to us about 15 minutes later and told us we would be seated next, as we headed back to our table they handed me a red rose, which they do for all the ladies, a nice touch, but the maitre d' then proceeded to tell us that really we were not next his assistant made a mistake, but he would seat us any way....uh thanks. Anyways, the place is very old school, you have a ""staff"" waiting on you..which I almost found silly as we placed our order, then the second waiter came to take our order also a few minutes later. I ordered the lobster, which I enjoyed, my boyfriend order rack of lamb, which he did not like. They make your salad to order in front of you which was cool. All the wait staff was very nice. Between salad and the entree they gave you sorbet to cleanse your palate. They had a nice selections of deserts, but we did not get one, but they gave us a nice platter of chocolate dipped fruit. All in all, it was nice, but probably would not go back again.
Pros: Attentive wait staff.
