Review content:
I had a TERRIBLE experience here yesterday evening. I had scheduled a month in advance the private room for my daughter's first birthday, a very important birthday in the Korean tradition. I went in two weeks in advance and confirmed the menu as a buffet with particular items at $30pp. The manager made me a copy of the menu for my records. I confirmed three days and one day before the party the number of guests and again confirmed that we would have the buffet at the agreed-upon price. Then, the morning of the party, I received a call that the dinner would not be a buffet after all. I didn't think it would be a big deal because I assumed that we would get the same menu. Was I wrong. They took off most of the expensive items on the buffet (e.g., shrimp tempura, mussels, grilled fish) and instead provided a very skimpy dinner. There wasn't even enough meat given for one person each to have one galbi (BBQ rib and the most expensive item). I spoke with the manager, who was suddenly dumb-stricken and silent when I said that he had confirmed the buffet menu. The owner then appeared and said she would never have agreed on a buffet for less than 30 ppl. But I had SPECIFICALLY confirmed with the manager that we would have less than 30 ppl, and he confirmed with the owner that it wasn't going to be an issue (plus, we had 25 ppl so not that big a difference). At bottom, this was supposed to be a very special occasion, and I spent a lot of effort (not to mention money -- nearly $1000) to make my daughter's first birthday special, and this place blew it. I cannot recommend them for food or service because when their ethics consist of lying and cheating.\r

Addendum: I received a call from the restaurant a couple days after the event because given the absolute debacle of a party, I expressly left ""0"" for a tip. BUT THEY, OF THEIR OWN ACCORD, ADDED A TIP! This is credit card fraud, and I explained that to them. I will be reporting them to appropriate sources.
Cons: Terrible service, unethical business conduct
