Review content:
When my fiance and I first looked at this place, a young girl (Laura?) helped us, but when we went back to sign up, the guy kept nixing all of the perks that she had promised ($10 off/month for each person, 13th month free/no registration fee). My fiance finally had to be pretty forceful to get what we had been promised and I still double check the charge every month to make sure they're not ripping us off.\r

1. The Smith machine is unevenly calibrated. Now this can happen, but I've been reminding them weekly that it should be fixed...6 months later it's still not fixed. Now, I understand that it can take a while to get a technician, but they are a GYM. Given the number of people in the weight room, they should have the weight machines tuned up at least every 2 months.\r
\r
2. They don't have room to work out with fitballs and the fitballs they do have are the cheapo kind--not durable/too squishy--so you don't get a good workout even if you do try to use them.\r
\r
3. The facilities are beautiful, but I get the idea that they spend a lot on the facade, but not much on the equipment maintenance. It's great to look pretty, but if the equipment is sub-par....\r
\r
4. They need more water fountains. You should have at least 1 water fountain/floor at a gym. \r

All in all, it is a gym and I get my workouts done, but if I had to do it again, I'd join the ""bare bones"" gym down the street. There aren't as many amenities (spa, sauna, beautiful entryway, beautiful dressing rooms) but the equipment is above par and I'd rather spend my money in an establishment I trust.
Pros: overall look, cleanliness
Cons: equipment, specifically weight machines
