Last night was the LAST TIME I'll ever subject myself (or friends and family) to THIS Books-A-Million. Why? They have a guy who works behind the Coffee-Desert Bar. His thing is to Jovially Harass customers. The 1st time he did this to us I honestly thought he was mentally ill. ....We had ordered and needed to sit down with the kids, AND THIS GUY WOULDN'T LET US PAY without going through HIS WEIRD COMEDY ROUTINE. exawp/e : Weird Counter Guy, ""Oh! You want to pay for the 18 shots of expresso??"" me, ""no, please let me pay for our order."" Weird Guy, ""don't YOU WANT Lave Cake TOO!"" [as he peers at our kids, who of course do want as many sweets as possible!] me, ""NO. please let me pay"" Weird Guy, now kind of deflated and almost normal, ""Well, you'll be paying with your Books-A-Million card Of Course."" me, as I'm still holding out my $20 bill to him, ""No, please! take our money and let us sit down."" REALLY HIS INANE QUESTIONS AND STRIVING FOR POSSIBLE SALES (candy to the kids, ugg, really??) WENT ON FOR 7 ROUNDS.
