Review content:
Having moved here from the West Coast and only knowing about ""Pizza Hut"" type pizza my husband wanted me to try a tomato pie. I tried one but didn't like it because it was served room temp and on a thick crust. He advised me that is not an authentic Tomato Pie. So we traveled across the river to Its Nutts on the recommendation of one of his friends. We arrived a little before noon on a Sunday and the placed was crowed and it was a nice day so we sat outside. The staff was very attentive and advised they were still serving breakfast only but we would be able to order the Pie. We ordered the Pie but I wanted to look at the breakfast menu. Man what a choice you get. We have gone back many times and the eggs Benedict are to die for. You must also try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes trust me on this you will never go back to regular pancakes again. But I digress, the pie came out and the first thing I notices was that it was hot. Big shock to me and the crust was extremely thin. I don't think I had ever seen a crust so crispy before. My husband liking extra spice put crushed hot peppers on his but I wanted to be a purist. Let me tell you having gotten used to the ""Pizza Hut"" type pizza of my youth this was a taste explosion from the first bite. I have gone back for lunch and gotten the burgers and fries served just the way you want them, and you must try the home made shakes. Just the right amount of chocolate to satisfy any craving. They don't blend it to death so you must use a spoon at first. What a treat. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great friendly neighborhood restaurant. The staff is always friendly and always remembers what we like. Pros: Friendly, Easy to get to , Plenty of Parking Cons: Only take cash
