Review content:
I never use those coupons that are sent in bulk, but a Carne Asada dinner for .99 cents with purchase of another seemed like a good deal. The atmosphere is generic but not unpleasant. The wait staff courteous and prompt. But on to the food. We ordered the quesadilla and guacamole appetizers. The guacamole was simple and tasty, the nutty, buttery taste of the avocado and hint of citrus was very refreshing. I'm so tired of these guacamoles padded with onions, tomatoes and cilantro that just defeat the avocado. The quesadilla was made with a mellow Mexican cheese and served with a dab of guacamole and sour cream on the side. Once again the simplicity of preparation cut through, can't tell you how many times I've ordered a simple quesadilla and had it ruined by swimming in some sauce.\r
The carne asada was no disappointment either, tender and juicy and cooked to order. The sides were good too. The beans and rice very tasty. Came with a cheese enchilada too. The torts were like store bought, but I know of only two places that actually have home made torts so I can't fault then for that.\r
All in all a very nice Mexican home style dinner at a reasonable price.
Pros: Simple home style Mexican food
