Review content:
I know little about bicycles, that's why I pay an ""expert"". Last week my wife and I brought our bicycles in for ""tune-ups"", and to have a basket (which we purchased here) installed on her bike. When we went to pick them up we found the following:\r
1) My bike was missing the handgrips. When the owner was asked about this he replied ""I wouldn't have removed them unless you told me to. Not so ... never did, and not on work ticket.\r
2) My gel seat cover had expoloded. This is due, it seems, to it being left out in the hot sun. I didn't know this could happen, but he should have.\r
3) The frame for my wife's basket had been installed on the handlebars. The basket itself was nowhere to be found; they either sold it again or lost it.\r
\r
After telling me that ""my cheap piece of s---"" seat cover (perhaps ... it was a gift) shouldn't have been outdoors (where he put it), he told me that my contention that he was not instructed to remove the handgrips was ""the dumbest f---ing thing he'd ever heard"", the owner angrily and reluctantly told me to pick out handgrips and a seat cover. The missing basket has yet to be replaced.\r
\r
After this experience I still know nothing about bicycles, but I know that I'll never cross this neanderthal's threshold again. There are many fine bicycle shops in the area. Find one and stay away from this place.
Pros: Has indoor plumbing.
Cons: Owner is a moron.
