Businiess name:  Actors Comedy Studio

Review content:
After taking scene study classes for years and performing sketch comedy around NYC and LA, I knew I needed to sharpen my audition technique and sitcom skills in order to start booking in this town. \r I found The Actors Comedy Studio and I haven't gone anywhere else since. \r Every class is on camera, so my audition skills have sky rocketed. In fact, I was called a ""pro"" by a session director recently, which I knew was only because I have become so comfortable with reading on camera and taking control of the audition room, in class.\r Todd teaches a complete breakdown of all the characters in sitcoms. We have gone so far in detail as to how these characters not only function in their world, but how a certain formulaic combination of different characters just equals great comedy. He really teaches script analysis from a writers' point of view, which is invaluable when trying to figure out how a character's brain works and what function they serve in the scene.\r Although heady in theory, the classes are taught in such a fun way and with unique exercises, that the time flies and you leave class really thinking about what you just learned. \r Todd is a great guy and really cares about his students careers and is always encouraging us to self produce, which is such a great outlet for any artist these days!\r Take the classes. You will be happy you did. I am!
