I've had many problems with accessing on-demand movies and being charged for them. Last time I called customer service for the aforementioned problem; for the very first time customer service asked me for my password or last 4 digits of SS. Surprised by this sort of question, I told the lady that the account was in my mother's name and didn't know her password and that she didn't have a SS since she wasn't american or living in the US(it's her holiday house and she was in europe at the time) . In the past, customer service always asked me for the name and full address on the account, so I never had the need to ask my mother for her password. I didn't want to call her either because it was 4am overseas! The customer rep. completely refused to help me to access the movie I had been charged for(of course), even though I was able to give her my mother's name and full address. I, then, asked her if I could speak to her supervisor which she refused to do on 2 occasions. I insisted politely(I must have said 'PLEASE' 2 or 3 times!)and she finally transferred me to another lady who relunctantly helped me after having to explain again who I was and my situation. We also have a neighbour who also uses brighthouse and needed two seperate visits to fix their cable which had been accidently cut by the landscapers. The first technician didn't split the cable right, and even forgot his shovel! Not one apology from brighthouse either.\r If you have a different cable company in your area, try them because brighthouse is an absolutely pathetic company.\r
