Review content:
A large group of Steelers fans and I visited for the first time the night before the Steelers Texans game this past weekend (10/01/11). It was crowded, and we completely expected that, but I don't think our waitress did. When a team that travels as well as the Steelers comes to town, you're obviously going to see an influx of activity across the board of many types of businesses, ESPECIALLLY one marketed to the fans/team themselves. The perception was that Steel City has never seen a night as busy as this, and didn't know how to handle it.\r
\r
Initially we really had a great time watching all the college football scores, enjoying the activity and the food was GREAT! Throughout the evening, we had consistent issues with getting attention from our server but gave her a lot of slack and grace. But when the end of the evening came and we were ready to leave, we wanted for an hour to get our bill - no exaggeration. A member of our party asked to speak with the manager, who seemed to just give her attitude. When finally the owner came over to speak to us, I heard him utter the phrase to a Pittsburgher in our party, ""Well, if you're from Pittsburgh, you should be used to waiting 4 hours to get service,"" as though that offered any excuse or consolation. Not the best way to do business. We paid our bill in full and were never offered any discount or comped items.\r
\r
None of our party of 10 or so will ever go back here.
