Review content:
We've all experienced poor customer service and less than satisfactory products. For me, there is no experience that surpasses my recent experience with First Class Mailing Service. It was anything but ""first class""! First Class Mailing Service shows little integrity for insuring orders are correct and customers are invoiced in a timely manner. Their protocal is slap stick in how they execute orders and treat their customers. BEWARE!\r
\r
My assistant contacted First Class Mailing service for folding and mailing a large quantity of color copy newsletters. Their pricing was competitive and they assured us the order would be mailed within 3-4 days of receipt of order. Since I always receive a personal copy of my professional mailers, I called my assistant 7 business days later to share that I had not received a newsletter. She contacted First Class Mailing to inquire and was told they could not make that date--no apology or discount offered.\r
\r
This was only the beginning of the poorest customer service experience I have EVER encountered. When I received a copy of my professional newsletter, the delivery was not executed per our instructions which was key to offering a visible discount/ special to my data base. When we contacted First Class Mailing Services to share this, we were never offered an apology or discount for their error. \r
\r
And, five weeks later, a gentleman (certainly an exaggeration) named Alan began calling my assistant demanding payment for services. When she explained that an invoice had not been received, he began to argue with her rather than offering to email or mail this directly, per our request. \r
\r
Eight weeks later, ALAN contacted me at 8:30am on Thursday, December 16th and again at 9:00am on December 16th before I arrived to my office, leaving harrassing messages re: the outstanding balance owed and urgent nature of payment. I returned Alan's call promptly to confirm receipt of his messages and share that I had not received an invoice. Alan began to argue with me. When I asked if he could email this, he agreed and I received it immediately. I shared that I would handle payment promptly. I printed the invoice and mailed a check for payment with 24 hours of receipt. \r
\r
As of December 27th, my assistant received a voice message from Alan at 8:30am prior to business hours and then I received two immediately following. Alan left verbal threats for each of us and said he would file suit for the payment of $352 owed to First Class Mailing Services. Upon receipt of these messages, I contacted Brendt Kessler at First Class Mailing Services and requested his assistance--asking that he please ask Alan to cease with the calls immediately and focus his energy on opening his mail to confirm receipt of payment that had been made over 1 week ago. Brendt responded professionally and promptly and also confirmed receipt of payment. Nevertheless, employees like Alan give businesses a very bad name and customers a negative lasting impression. \r
\r
Considering First Class Mailing Services had been recommended by two reputable business partners, we have notified these referral sources as well. A one-star rating is generous. There is nothing ""first class"" about this business or how they run a business or treat others. Dont walk, run!
