I was glad to see the space put to use on University. Great art moderne windows. Very nice loft-like atmosphere--brightly lit, large art and B&W photos (some nude pix)on brick walls. We went with a small group on New Year's eve. The wine, two bottles of $39 cianti, was very good, the appetizers average--portobellos were bland, the bruschetta was burnt (but the olive-topped ones were very good), but the sirloin strips in balsalmic were wonderful. Our friends enjoyed lasagna in white sauce and brick chicken. The desserts sounded fantastic, but we didn't imbibe. Service was friendly and quick, but not hurried.
Some nice tables good for groups of 8-10.
