I went in to check out Dr. Peterson's office one day, and met with his office manager, who took my insurance card in her hand, and said I'd be processed as ""in network."" I wasn't, and now the office has sent me a bill for $400 for one visit. The office manager told me on the phone that she told me to call my insurance company. But this is a lie. She said no such thing.\r

I would like to have had Dr. Peterson as my obstetrician, but instead had to switch OBs halfway through my pregnancy. This caused me a lot of stress during an already stressful time.\r

But overall, I'm glad I switched. I now have a doctor I'm happy with. And when I call to ask a question, or confirm an appointment, the person on the other end of the line is cheerful and helpful. Dr. Peterson's receptionist canceled the first appointment I had without calling to tell me. Not nice.
Pros: Sonogram every visit for pregos
Cons: Poor service overall
