Just wanted to warn you out there that my husband and I recently went on vacation and rented bicycles from Barracuda Bikes and Scooters in Key West and the rental fee was 118.00 for 5 days. They were supposed to put a hold on our credit card for 200.00 in case they were not returned but actually charged our card the 200.00!! The bikes were returned just fine and they agreed to that when we called them up to complain but they keep saying it's not a real charge- just a hold... I'm pretty sure I can tell a ""real charge"" on my statement! The bikes have been returned for 2 weeks now and we still have not received our money back after about 7 calls to them. We keep getting the run-around saying they need to look us up and they will call us back but the only call back we got was on about call 3 in which they gave us a different number to call. I even spoke to the owner 2 times and he has failed to call me back both times.\r
Finally today I decided to call our credit card company and they are going to help us dispute the charge. I will also be calling our Hotel to let them know since the conceirge was the one that referred us to them.\r

I wanted anyone else out there to be aware of this. I'm sure many people go on vacation and spend plenty of money and don't even notice the extra charge and this company probably has gotten away with it many times.
Pros: the bikes were fine while we had them
Cons: the ""bike lights"" were flashlights....... not very helpful
