Nick, at Central Automotive, is a great guy with a great personality. I did a lot of car work myself, and Nick is the only one I recommend. He is very accommodating, has a tremendous personality, and is the best mechanic I have seen in a long time.
It is a whole new industry now with the things mechanics do with computers, and half the repair shops around send the problems they can't figure out to Central Automotive. Nick is very into it; it is like a challenge for him to learn more.
I was recommended to Nick maybe 2 years ago by somebody on a problem, and now I always go to him. I have never had to go back with something that he has done. In other words, it is done the right way. He doesn't cut corners. He takes to time to explain the situation to his customers and lets them know the options.
It feels like a lot of places think they are doing you a favor by working on your car. That is not his attitude. He explains what the best things are to do and what needs to be done now or what can wait.
His pricing is very fair. When he explains what he is going to do with the car there are no surprises when I come back. What he says is wrong with the car is what is wrong, and he doesn't have to add things on along the way. The price sticks to what he says.
I have sent 4 or 5 people to him. They are all happy with him and continue to go back. There is no guess work when he fixes something. He is an in depth person. He is knowledgeable, and I think he enjoys his work. Each job is a challenge for him to find the problem and solve it. When I go there I feel like I not only gained a mechanic but also as a friend.
