I took my car in to have work done on the axle and was told my brake rotors would need to be replaced in the next 4 months along with the pads since the rotors were too thin to be turned again. I took their word for it but decided to do it myself since I knew I could do it for a lot less than what they would ask. After buying the pads and rotors I took the front tires off only to discover they were fine. In fact, the pads were almost brand new (I bought the car a few months earlier) and the rotors not only didn't have any grooves, they were thicker than the new ones! Firestone wanted to replace perfectly fine parts and charge me hundreds of dollars to do it. I will never go here again and I advise you to stay way unless you like wasting money on work you don't need.
