I personally love Hudson's. They have been around for as long as I can remember. They use fresh cut potatoes for their french fries, and their bar b q is excellent. It is very tender and not crunchy like some of the other spots in Douglasville. The service is quick and also their sweet tea is the best in the county.\r
Now the service there if you are sitting down to eat is not up to par these days. That is the only complaint I have about this place. It is not the same friendly atmosphere it was yr's ago, when you walk into the door. Now YES you do have to seat yourself if it is not busy, but when they are busy the sign does say wait here to be seated. Also for the other person who complained about the way it looked on the inside. It is a bar b q joint. It is not the city grill in downtown Atlanta. Do not expect 4 star accomodations when going here. If that is what you want go out the Ruth Chris steakhouse or something.\r
Other than the crappy service some servers give you the food is great, and I highly recommend it.
Pros: Food is great and very affordable
Cons: Some of the servers are rude and slow.
