I paid almost $5000 for my kitchen granite through Costco nad their contractor GW Surfaces from Ventura. The job left a lot to be desired. They left a 1"" gap between the granite and my countertops. That meant that I had to hire a carpenter to complete their screwup. The supervisor (Rick) was of no help and basically told me that was the way it is in this business. I made the mistake of paying Costco up front, leaving me no room to negotiate. GW was at fault, but I called Costrco obnly to be told that the manager would niot speak to me and I had to call a different number. Not what I have come to expect from Costco. I expected them to back up their services just like they do with their retil items. I was shocked at the lack of interest that I recived both from GW Surfaces and Costco.
