When we drive out to Excelsior for a day outside of the city we like to top it off with ice cream. We have gone to Licks in the past and thought we'd give it another try - MISTAKE!! Squish in line and sit outside with the car exhaust on Water Street to eat ice cream from somewhere else? \r
Another option is Adele's custard but then you're in a parking lot and have to drive to the lake. \r
We found the Tonka Trolley right on Lake MTKA in Excelsior and it serves Sebastian Joe's (Best in the TC)? There is nothing that beats watching the boats while eating SB's Pavorotti ice cream.
Pros: It's not a franchise
